Last month, we made a trip to the City of Culture to catch up on all their amazing cultural events and say farewell to the lovely Lisa, Ian and Roisha, the team we worked with to create our fab four Hello Hull magazines.
Yep, it's true, 11 years old! Almost a teenager! When we started all these years ago, we had no idea where this will lead us, thankfully! The journey so far has been a roller coaster of pure fun and some little bumps too. What has kept us going is the brilliant support our lovely readers, clients, fans and contributors have showed us during every single day of these 11 years.
A roaringly happy piece of news from Anorak Towers this week includes a special collaboration with Airbnb, hooray! From next week onwards, Airbnb will bring a special basecamp to Dinosnores, the monthly dino-filled sleepover at the Natural History Museum. We were tasked with creating all illustrations for the event to be found on signages around the Museum and on their website, on a screen printed map and on the merchandising included in the goodie bags.
May we please remind you all new visitors and fans that we, at Studio Anorak, made a Stickers App earlier last year? It is filled with fun little digital characters to plaster your photographs with! Click here to download it.
A new issue of DOT is here and it is looking glorious! Its theme is FOOD and you can expect it to plop on your doormats in the next week. To order one of these yummy issues, click here or visit one of our lovely independent stockists here.
We have some happy news for our little DOT fans: a new issue is being printed as we speak. In this new issue, DOT is taking us on a trip to the market where we learn about veggies, fruits, cheese and spices. Mr and Mrs Twig are back and this time they are off to the Woodlands' Sports Day and we meet Mr Yuck, the most beloved chef in the farm.
