The school holidays are in full swing, and you’ve ticked off everything in our Happy Things To Do in July, so now what? What could POSSIBLY be more fun than all the things you got to do in July? Well, where do we start...
Day Out With Thomas - Bolton Street Station, Greater Manchester 2nd - 3rd of August
Thomas the Tank Engine will be spending a weekend on the East Lancashire Railway. The Fat Controller will be there, of course, to get the party started and you can even take a ride on Thomas himself! There will also be balloon modelling, magic shows and even a circus workshop.
Thursday 7th - Sunday 10th of August
Are you going to the Wilderness Festival? We definitely are! We will be there all weekend teaching your little ones how to design their own Anorak cover. There are many other brilliant activities for all the family, including theatre, table tennis tournaments, campfire stories and guaranteed fun from some of our favourite museums like the Charles Dickens Museum and Roald Dahl Museum. Not to miss!
Friday 8th of August - Sunday 24th of August
Oh we do like to be beside the seaside! Especially when it’s filled with books! This brilliant book bonanza will include treasure hunts, crafts, games and a host of storytime sessions with popular children’s authors.
14th, 16th, 22nd, 30th of August
Fingers crossed for more sun, so we can enjoy family favourites like Labyrinth, The NeverEnding Story and more in some of London’s beautiful outdoor spaces. As well as getting to watch the classics, you’ll also be doing a good deed as The Nomad Cinema donates 100% of profits to pioneering charity, The Sustainability Institute in South Africa.
