Personal highlights include discovering the uber imaginative work of The Glue Society (which includes this melted ice cream van), listening to an inspiring talk from Wayne Hemingway about 'having a go', being shown around Ralph Steadman's studio (OK, via Skype, but still), enjoying a revealing debate about whether robots could take over creatives (answer is no) and so much more.
On Saturday and Sunday, we welcomed hundreds of families to our 10th anniversary event, The Drawing Imaginarium. As ever, we were amazed by the buckets of creativity fizzing out of our little fans, who got busy dressing Pam as a mermaid, making triple decker contraptions and beautiful kites, colouring to their hearts contents, creating utterly bonkers underwater creatures and 'fuzzy-felting' the day away!
If you have missed any of it, don't worry because this is very much Chapter ONE of our creative adventures in the real world. We already have one more 'leg' booked this year and we will announce some more soon! Anorak on Tour? Oh yes.
A HUGE ginormous thank you to all of you who came along, to our sponsors Arts Council and Paperchase, to the brilliant D&AD team Amanda, Michelle, Lauren, Lubos and Ben and to Team Anorak - the loveliest in the world.
Unto the next one!
