Every year in January, toy manufacturers from around the world descend on London to show their latest collections and inventions. Every year, we pay the fair a visit, eager to see what will the next craze will be and what we will all be buying for Christmas. There was definitely an air of nostalgia around, as old friends are making a comeback, from Thunderbirds to the Clangers, Scooby and even Sooty!
Here's a round up of the fun stuff that caught my attention.
Lego and Scoobydoo!
Can you believe that good ol' Scooby-doo is going to be 50 years old this year?! What a better way to celebrate than launching a Lego range? It comes complete with uber cute Scooby snacks!
We fell in love with K'Nex amazing building sets and especially the one from Super Mario Kart. It comes complete with super cute Mario bikes and figurines to build. Definitely going on our Santa's list.
So chuffed to see this little cute chap back! I remember having hours of fun knitting him jumpers and hats!
There really was no getting away from The Minions. With a film coming up in the Summer, it looks like many manufacturers are banking on these unlikely heroes to be THE hit of 2015.
Pink and more pink!
The Pink Supremacy: no sign of abating unfortunately. It's everywhere, even in toys from the past which never came in pink! We had to rub our eyes a few times in disbelief when we spotted some TOWIE-like dolls, complete with orange tans! Take me back to the 60s now!
Last but not least, the Anorak award for the Cutest of Them All has to go to these gorgeous new figurines from the Yellow Submarine. Each pack comes with a surprise character and there are 12 to collect. Irresistible!
